The day after Nick insisted I watch the ‘a owl’ [sic] exchange from PhoneShop (watch it on YouTube, 17sec), I saw this on a card in Marks and Spencer. It’s so bad, I don’t think it even counts as a pun:

Who would even buy this?? I could forgive ‘I will always love ewe‘ because: 1) it’s a true homonym and 2) sheep are nice, but this…

Owls seems to be ‘in’ at the moment, cropping up as cushions, on fabric prints, as jewellery. But really M&S, this is stretching it too far.
